The useful version
A valid purchase gives you a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to use the downloaded asset in finished creative work, subject to this document and the licence tier shown on the product page. You own your finished edit. Sequence keeps ownership of the underlying asset, source files, systems, and intellectual property.
What you may do
• Use the asset in finished videos, advertisements, brand content, social posts, presentations, websites, client projects, broadcasts, and internal communications covered by your licence tier.
• Modify colours, timing, text, layout, crops, effects, or other editable properties to fit a finished project.
• Deliver a flattened or rendered final work to a client, platform, broadcaster, or distributor.
• Keep reasonable backup copies for your own licensed use.
Client work
You may use an asset to create finished work for clients. The client may use the delivered final work, but does not receive the reusable source asset unless the client buys its own licence or your licence tier expressly permits transfer. If the client needs editable project files containing the asset, remove or flatten the licensed elements unless a separate licence covers that handoff.
Seats and teams
A single-user licence is for one person. Teammates, contractors, or collaborators who need direct access to reusable source files require their own licence or a team/extended licence. Passing a folder around the office is still sharing, even when the folder has a beautifully organised naming system.
What you may not do
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, upload, gift, trade, or make the asset available as a standalone file or lightly modified substitute.
• Include the asset in another template, stock library, LUT pack, plugin, editable toolkit, website builder, design resource, or download where another person can extract it.
• Claim authorship or exclusive ownership of the underlying Sequence asset.
• Use the asset to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or build a generative model or dataset unless Sequence gives written permission.
• Use the asset in unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, exploitative, or rights-infringing content.
Stock media and previews
Stock clips, photos, textures, and audio-free previews may be incorporated into a larger finished work. They may not be published as a competing stock asset, raw background download, looping wallpaper pack, or substantially unchanged standalone product. Preview files, watermarked files, and sample downloads remain subject to the limits stated with them.
Fonts, plugins, and third-party material
A product may reference fonts, software, plugins, footage, or other items owned by third parties. Unless the product page says they are included, you are responsible for obtaining and following those separate licences. Compatibility notes describe the tested setup, not a promise that every future software update will behave.
Updates and support
Your purchase includes the files and support described on the product page at the time of purchase. Minor updates may be provided, but future versions, new formats, or major upgrades may be sold separately. Keep your receipt or order details so support can confirm the licence.
Ending the licence
The licence ends if you materially breach these terms and do not correct the breach after notice where correction is possible. When it ends, stop new use and remove shared source files. Existing finished work created while the licence was valid may remain in use unless the work itself violates these terms.
Questions
If a planned use sits in a grey area, ask before delivery rather than after launch. Send the product name, licence tier, team size, and a short description of the use through the contact page or to videopros@email.com.
